Two days of competition
Age divisions and age-appropriate tee positions are planned, with fair play, decision-making and etiquette at the centre. Format, pairings, scoring and awards will be set out in the official entry terms.

THE INAUGURAL APGA CHALLENGE & CAMP
Purposeful competition, a day of learning with Japanese golf professionals and new friendships across Asia-Pacific—brought together in Fukuoka.
A CHALLENGE WITH ROOM TO GROW
The inaugural APGA Asia-Pacific Junior Golf Challenge & Camp is more than a leaderboard. It is a three-day experience where young golfers test their game in an age-appropriate setting, learn directly from Japanese professionals and meet peers whose cultures and stories are different from their own.
For our first edition, we are designing an event that feels clear, welcoming and worth returning to—for players and families alike.

Age divisions and age-appropriate tee positions are planned, with fair play, decision-making and etiquette at the centre. Format, pairings, scoring and awards will be set out in the official entry terms.

Invited Japanese golf professionals will share technique, course thinking and approaches to practice. Conversation and questions will bring the professional game closer to every young player.
PROVISIONAL THREE-DAY PROGRAMME
This is the current programme concept. Exact timings will be published after the host course and invited professionals are confirmed.
Registration and orientation followed by a planned one-day clinic with invited professionals—combining technical practice, course thinking and time to connect.
The opening challenge round by age division, played in an environment where rules, etiquette and personal responsibility matter.
The final round, awards and closing exchange—recognising progress and new connections as much as the result.

FUKUOKA · GATEWAY TO KYUSHU
Well connected to major Asian cities and close to sea, mountains and an energetic urban culture, Fukuoka offers an inviting first home for APGA. The event is planned so a player’s time on the course and a family’s time in Japan become one memorable journey.
FOR PLAYERS & FAMILIES
Open by invitation and application to boys and girls aged 7–16 from across Asia-Pacific. The tournament age date and final divisions will be published in the entry terms.
Age-appropriate divisions and tee distances are planned. Eligibility, format, caddie policy and competition conditions will follow after the venue is confirmed.
As participants are minors, the event is being planned on the basis of guardian accompaniment. Stay, transport, spectator and companion information will form part of the family guide.
Safeguarding, codes of conduct, emergency and weather procedures, and multilingual support will be included in the official player guide.
